this SPECIAL STARRY FERRARI SALSA SOCIAL and JACK AND JILL
BACHATA CONTEST at the Ballroom On High, 310 E. High Street
(second floor), Pottstown, PA.

At this Starry Ferrari, we will hold a super fun and fabulous Jack and Jill Bachata Contest!

A Jack and Jill contest is one in which leads and follows are
randomly paired up by a draw of names! Yes, there will be
prizes to the winners. Remi and Star will judge. This contest
is open to everyone. No need to register in advance!

Criteria are: timing, originality, style, chemistry (this is
bachata folks, and chemistry defines this dance!). Though
costumes are not required, we will look at dress too!

There will be two rounds: The first will be an elimination
round and the second will be the final. You will not know the
song choices before you dance, so, we suggest you really
starting listening to bachata songs to become familiar with
them. The better you know the songs, the better you can
interpret the music! This is gonna be a blast folks!

The party starts at 8 p.m. with a Beg. salsa lesson or an
Intermediate salsa lesson (your choice), then dancing to salsa,
bachata, merengue and cha cha till 11 (sometimes later if we
don't want to stop)! Only $12, but ONLY $10 IF YOU TELL THE
DOOR PERSON YOU ARE A MEMBER OF LEHIGH VALLEY SALSA MEETUP.. Full
time students with ID always get in for $7.

If a sensual bachata lesson is what you need (especially if you
are going to participate in the contest), come early at 7! Remi
and Star will teach this lesson together! Only $5 extra for the
early bachata lesson. No partner needed. We LOVE our beginners!

Light snacks provided, but feel free to bring snacks to share
too.
